I am not sure if this is a stupid question, has anyone fitted a steering damper to a MU?

Its an interesting question The replacment center steering arm I put in my wagon had a mount for a damper and aparently some after market idler arms have a mount for the other end. Probably wont make much differance unless youve lifted your MU and bump steer is a problem

On the weekend I picked up a steering arm and tie rods for $55 from Kumbak Auto Wreckers in Breaside (Melb). (Bargin!). They offer a replacment warrenty if your not happy. These guys are melbournes largest wrecker of Rodeos and Jackaroos. They do not have much in imported spares but they were pretty helpful.
The replacment arm had the damper mount that you mentioned also.. Over 90km/hr the steering on my MU becomes a light. I am considering installing a damper to improve the handeling. Apparently there is linear and non linear type dampers. I understand I need the non linear type. Still learning about this thou.
