will bfg 265/75/16s definitely fit on a stock standard mu 1995 model without rubbing on the front when turning? just asking becoz the tyre guy has told me that i have to go for 265/ 70/16  |

Should be ok 265/75/16 is aprox 31 inches tall so as long as you havnt sagged from std they will be ok. The 70 series is 30.5 inches so not much in it.

Perhaps keep an eye on tyre clearances if you are now fitting mudgrip tyres. The Hankook mudgrips i use (265x75x16) are taller than road tyres because of different profile and tread depth = 31.8 inches, not 31 as road or A/Ts might be with that rating. Can make a difference re movement in wheel arch.
