Hey guys,
Just a quick question as odd as it may be, but i cant find anyway to check the level of the oil in my manual transmission and if need be how do I top it up? or do i straight out replace it all in one hit?
Thanks
Kurt.

On the right hand side of both the gearbox and transfer case there is a large flat bolthead about halfway up the casing. This is the fill hole and correct level.Ie fill til it overflows let it stop overflowing then put bolt back. I put my finger into the hole to check the level. Remember that the transfer case and gearbox have separate oil chambers. Also I have heard that if the seal goes between the gearbox and transfer case all the gearbox oil drains into the tranfer case so gearbox will be empty and transfer overfull.

Lift the boot over the transfer lever and you will find them in plain view. Easier than most things Isuzu
