Perhaps a mild suspension, up to 2" with longer shackles and up a tyre size. What size tyres do you currently run?

All depends on how much you have to spend! You currently say you have a 2 inch lift Is this a body lift? The cheats way to lift the rear would be longer shackles but remember that each inch you get requires a 2 inch longer shackle. New or reset rear springs is a better solution although the costs go up a lot I just spent 470 on springs then had to buy new bushes for the front of the springs and replace the U bolts for just over anouther 100 If you raise the suspension over 50 mm you need to replace the rear shocks as well as you run out of travel. Front you can simply adjust the torsion bars and get hight but you lose downward travel due to the design of the suspension and wheel alignment can be an issue This can be overcome with the Calmini kit's upper A arm but the same result can be achieved by reattaching the upper ball joint to the underside of the A arm. You are still limited by the angle of the cv joints and there is no cheap fix to this. To change to coils has been done but your into big engineering work as is changing to a live front axle. There is a kit that was shown on here a while ago that gave a six inch lift by lowering the front diff Im not sure if the gains would be worth it.

hey thanks for all the info will really help out. yeah the body is a 2" lift. I have been looking at the calmini 3" just need some more info on how well it works. was told today by a local 4x4 shop that the 3" by calmini standard out of box isn't really that great but would be interested to find out if anyone here has used it and how it rates. I would like to spend around $3000 thats about budget for this at the moment. if anyone else has anything !!

Just sent you some info on the Calmini Lift (Aust 4WD monthly), I believe there was a following article that rated it which someone may have out there. J
